More Bad Luck!

We have some sad news: the Internet Archive site is shutting down their OPDS endpoint!  This impacts Reader Feeder, so we’re bringing it to your attention.  There is not an issue with the application.

All is not lost, however.  Archive.org has a pretty big RSS footprint, so we are working on supporting them through that format, which in case anyone is reading and interested, uses Media RSS specifically, and is a close cousin to the Atom format underlying OPDS itself.

Out of the Ashes…

We’re also using this occasion to expand support in Reader Feeder, so you can add “traditional” feeds to it and download the enclosures that way also, similar to Feed Farmer.
